We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment.  The responsibilities will encompass keeping our facilities and contents working smoothly as well as maintaining and repairing some equipment used in and around our campus.  Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) checking devices, structures and systems (e.g. fire alarms and air-conditioners) on a regular basis and identifying needs for repairs and renovations. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and able to prioritize multiple issues.

Essential Duties

• Identify and repair minor issues in appliances or arranging repairs 

• Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations.

• Responsible for maintaining and repairing the JBar Luxury Trailers.

• Responsible for maintaining and repairing other trailers as needed.

• Small engine repairs and maintenance (compressors, pressure washer, ect.)

• Facility plumbing repairs and maintenance.

• Facility electrical repairs and maintenance.

• Facility systems inspection and maintenance (air filters, fire extinguishers, light bulbs etc.)

• Kubota equipment repairs and maintenance.

• Well organized

• Sound judgment and the ability to think quickly during emergencies.

Licenses

• A valid Class C driver’s license with a good driving record.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in similar role preferred

Essential Duties

• Operate roll off truck under OSHA laws

• Maintains vehicle to ensure it is kept clean and obey all applicable traffic laws to include adhering to weather or road condition warnings.

• Reports any unsafe situations to Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, and/or Dispatch.

• Works closely with dispatch to improve route efficiencies and practice.

• Communicates customer requests to Dispatcher to ensure effective and efficient service.

• Follow all route duties as directed by Operations Manager or Dispatcher and assisting other drivers, as directed, to meet customer needs.

• Notify Operations Manager or Dispatcher of service interruptions ex. Blocked containers, closed lots, street alleyways, potential safety hazards

• Communicate customer request to Operations Manager or Dispatcher

• Performs complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order; and reports any safety issues on standard vehicle maintenance log.

Licenses

• A valid CDL with a good driving record. (Required)

Experience

• Must have at least one (1) year of driving experience.

• Must be 21 years in age or older per insurance requirements

• Geographical knowledge of service area and/or efficiency in using mobile mapping apps (google maps)

Expectations

The Roll Off Service Technician is ultimately responsible for following through with daily work orders that are assigned by dispatch.  In addition, the overall upkeep of the truck, equipment, company property, and customer property are also important parts of the ROST role.

This role is designed for a person who is self-motivated, can multitask, and follow through with action plans set by the Dispatcher. Safety, Quality, Productivity, and maintaining a valid license are essential to fulfill this role.

Diesel Mechanic 

JBar Enterprises is searching for an additional mechanic for our expanding team.  The right individual will include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components. This person needs to be highly organized and communicate effectively in order to maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles and interact with fellow employees and management on a daily basis.  The mechanic is ultimately responsible for assisting in maintaining all components of the JBar fleet of vehicles including the vocational trucks, generators, and equipment pumps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure policies and procedures are being enforced and are applicable.

• Responsible for assisting with the training and onboarding of all drivers in the daily PM checklist and maintenance request submittals

• Notify the Fleet Services Manager of all incidents. (ex. Injuries, accidents, or property damage)

• Complete special projects as requested by Fleet Services Manager.

• Meet the daily maintenance requirements to support the whole operation

• Assists the Fleet Services Manager and ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. 

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. 

• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. 

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.  

• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. 

• Fabricates repair parts by using precision instrumentation and test equipment. 

• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. 

• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. 

• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. 

• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. 

• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. 

• Maintains continuity among work teams by accurately documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
